Experience

UAVRL's expertise in supporting the operation of UAV's is based on over 20 years of participation in projects such as the Army Scout Rotorcraft Testbed (ASRT), Software Enabled Control (SEC) program, the Heterogeneous Urban RSTA Team (HURT), and the Active Vision Control System (AVCS) project. These projects were sponsored by the U.S. Army, DARPA, and U.S. Air Force. The vehicles we operated during these projects included the Yamaha R-max and R-50 helicopters, as well as several fixed wing UAV's such as the Merlin 200. UAVRL's Rotor Buzz-1 and Rotor Buzz II have also been used for recent projects.
